Research & planning - poster and digipak requirements

I have chose to make a digipak and poster to promote 'Glasscopy', an unsigned band from Lincoln.

For each, there are certain things which need to be considered, such as:-

Poster-
Title- same colour and font as their myspace, keeping a running theme throughout all of the bands work.
-simple colour scheme so the design doesnt become over complicated, also matching with the myspace colours (orange, black and grey) and the professional photographs the band have.
- make sure the imagery links in with digipack, having similar photos and artwork, this follows conventions and keeps a theme for the band.
- make sure its the correct magazine size (A4)
-Includes relevant information such as band name, release date and album name.


Digipak-
-follows the same colour scheme and the poster and myyspace page
-6 panelled digipak, this way more artwork can be added.
-make sure it includes
-myspace and facebook address' for promotion and so fans can easily access the websites
-album name
-track list
-band name
-artwork
-photo(s) of band
