About the band, Lyrics & permission

Our task was to find an unsigned band to base our project on, so after looking through myspace and lincolnbands (http://www.lincolnbands.co.uk/) for other unsigned, local bands we decided to choose Glasscopy, this was a sensible idea as I know the band quite well, meaning it would be easy to get footage of them for the music video.
Glasscopy write all their own songs and have quite an individual sound, making working with them alot more interesting.
We listened to all their tracks they had recorded from a live gig they played and chose a song called 'Beautiful Part of the Night', to make a video of, as its quite an individual sound and would be a good pace to work with

There are 5 members within the band
Danny Lambert - vocals

Simon Cross - guitar - backing vocals

We had to get permission from the band, to make sure it was ok to use them and their song for our project
